Your need for dialysis should not stop you from going abroad and exploring the world. Just make sure that there are suitable treatment facilities at your destinations. If you are coming to Bali, Kasih Ibu Hospital has a dialysis centre dedicated to overseas visitors and expats which caters for all your dialysis needs.

For traveller’s dialysis, we will work with your doctor at home, to create the program that you need, to make sure that you get the very best care. Additionally, our International Division is specifically set up with English-speaking medics and administration staff to make things as easy as possible for you.

  • What can you expect?

The first step in planning your treatment is to let us know when you are coming to Bali.  We will then contact your home doctor, and together we will create your Bali treatment plan. We recommend that you do this one week before your arrival, so that we can make all the necessary arrangements.

While our staff and the machinery at Kasih Ibu Hospital can facilitate the actual dialysis process, there are a few things you can do to make you stay more pleasant.

    • Plan kidney-friendly snacks and meals ahead of time. Bali is a haven of healthy food, so this should be easy.
    • Drink plenty of fluids.
    • Let the airline, hotel and travel providers know of any special request that you have for things such as wheelchairs, extra baggage for equipment or specific dietary needs in advance.
    • Bring your medical information.
    • EHIC card or insurance information.
    • Medication for the time of your stay, plus a few extra in case of travel delays.
    • Dialysis patient emergency card.
  • A door to door dialysis service

Our travellers’ dialysis service is designed to make your trip as stress-free as possible.  We even include free patient transfers between your hotel/villa and the hospital. We want you to be able to relax and enjoy this beautiful island.
